I just used a tool we had at work (just purchased to do some file recovery on Windows) called EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard (v5.5.1) and it did the trick on my borked USB-HDD. One of my 8GB Wintec's flew over the cuckoo's nest. Got all of the data back...took a while but got it all back. RinL<BR>
