For job searching, I can't recommend the monthly "Who is hiring" post on <a href="http://news.ycombinator.com">news.ycombinator.com</a> enough. I've been applying for jobs and have more interviews/offers than I can deal with. A few in socal. Also check out craigslist, but as usual, signal to noise is low. <div>
There are TONS of tech recruiters looking for guys like us right now, and I think most of them are at least 50% pure evil and a complete waste of time. Stick with applying directly and you'll get tons of responses if you're good at what you do. <div>
