I have from time to time tried "service networking restart" to only have<br>
"no such command found" returned.<br></blockquote><div><br>That's likely a $PATH issue as /sbin/service is not in a normal user path or a su path but is in su - path. Ditto for sudo as it doesn't monkey with $PATH by default.<br>
