<p>Is /boot in raid? Software raid is supported but hardware may require a kernel mod.</p>
<p>That said, plain blinking underscore and no kernel failure data sounds like grub puked during mbr write in install. </p>
<p>Use rescue on dvd and try grub unstall manually.</p>
<p>Or zero first mb on drives and reinstall if you can't see anaconda.log in /root from rescue.</p>
