Yes. As long as it's more in the tone of a notice and not a barrage of "GIVE US YOUR MONEY" announcements.<br><br>And a single notice for an occasional event. And it needs to be at least somehow related to Linux (runs on linux works but competes with Linux does not - i.e. Microsoft training announcements). If RedHat wants to announce a training session for RHCE certificate or LPI wants to announce a testing session, sure, it's related.<br>
<br>But then I don't CENSOR the list except to turn off someones microphone when they are being abusive. I have no interest (or time) to moderate everything that goes on here. I only send nasty-grams when people cross the invisible, unmarked line that nobody can see but me (and my imaginary friends).<br>
<br>Personally, I wish the training were far less than a kilobuck cause I'm interested in GIS stuff but more from the "how do I do that ArcGIS thing in GISS-GRASS". So knowing the commercial process helps my FLOSS understanding.<br>
