Our media players are a necessary evil, as I’d prefer to standardize the hardware than offer our software to a client-provided hardware solution and be burdened with the OS and hardware support requirements. We’ve vetted various specifications and have finalized two possible configurations. I’m hoping to provide these specifications (boards, chassis, storage, memory, etc.) to a vendor to perform the parts provisioning and assembly. If you know anyone in the PC assembly/integration space, I’d prefer to work with someone who’s been referred by a friend of a friend. And I’d prefer to work with a company in the SE US, where we can easily visit facilities, etc. </span></p>
