Thanks, guys. We have since scrapped that system and built a smaller box that is running Untangle to act as our gateway. So far, it has been great. VPN connectivity is really good and stable. Plus, it is just plain flexible. Despite all the naysayers, this is one of those times that I get a warm and fuzzy feeling from sticking with open source.<br>

I can't check whether a kernel/security update was done because I can't get the thing to boot. Could it be a hardware problem? That box was purchased in November 2004 and it has seen 24/7 operation since then.</p>
