last night to see how they were reporting it compared to CNN but once I<br>
saw Geraldo taking the lead there was no way. Every time I see<br>
"Geraldo at Large" I can't help but think "Why the hell is he still at<br>
large?" This is the same guy that wrote a memoir (long before Fox hired<br>
him) in which he claimed to sleep with every woman in the News and<br>
Entertainment industry. Nice for a channel that likes to pretend it<br>
supports conservative values.<br>

More interesting to me was that when I went to the broadcast networks<br>
they didn't even have a scroll at the bottom of the screen indicating<br>
the President was about to speak. They did come on by the time he<br>
spoke and may have had bulletins at some point before that but you'd<br>
think they'd have had such a scroll or notice for those who were just<br>
tuning into them.<br>

I liked the fact that CNN refused to speculate on what the President was<br>
going to say even when they had one source. They waited until they had<br>
3 sources confirming it and the President had delayed for quite a while<br>
before they reported it.<br>

Fox knows how to mispronounce things. While most reasonable people<br>
understand that "suicide bomber" simply designated that the murderer<br>
killed himself instead of doing a remote detonation Fox decided everyone<br>
was too stupid to understand that. Accordingly they came up with<br>
"homicide bombers". They also showed how reliable a news source they<br>
are by continuing to employ Geraldo after he claimed to be in the midst<br>
of a battle he was 300 miles away from and called it a "mistake". How<br>
the heck does someone not know the difference between bullets wizzing<br>
past their ears and NOT wizzing past their ears?<br>

I have to note though that it seemed that FOX was the only one that<br>
spelled it with a U, while all the others were spelling it as Osama.<br>
Doesn't matter as long as he's dead, bullet to the head from the<br>
