Robert,<div><br></div><div>The link you provided to the Sonnet product shows in the tech specs on the right hand side that you must have a controller that supports Port Replication. The link you provided to the Areca 1110 doesn't give that much detail, but I suspect that it does NOT and thus you only see one drive. You can check Areca's support page to make sure. Otherwise, it may be some setting required in the configuration of the Areca (usually accessed by Ctrl + A or R or some such hot key combination).<br>

I just got an Areca RAID card ( <a href="http://bit.ly/gfvyCl" target="_blank">http://bit.ly/gfvyCl</a> ) which claims to<br>
have multlane support. I have a sonnets Fusion R400 (<br>

together with an external cable similar to the top one in this picture<br>

connector just like the bottom of that page. I can see only 1 drive,<br>
not the 4 on the Sonnet enclosure. The Areca card only has 4 internal<br>
slots but should support 16 drives, so 4 per sata slot. The Fusion<br>
only has a single Sata connection on the back and nothing like other<br>
connector. Anyone have any ideas?<br>
