Sure. And gcc and the make system are your friends. It's not a
stretch to say that gcc is the killer app of all Linux, because it's
made so much of it possible. <br>

Thanks for chiming in on this gang. I know the topic has strayed
some but the core of it is that I'm looking to take-up C and run

Yeah - and Apple provides one, including an iPhone simulator. I'm
pretty sure it's all Mac-limited, though.
