<br>\\10.10.10.10 I see the share of the home folder /home/coolguy<br><br>I have added coolguy as a valid user for samba.<br><br>I am unable to share /mnt/windir even though I have listed it in my smb.conf file.<br><br>It shows up in the listing when I do \\10.10.10.10, but when I double click on the vides folder which is the name for /mnt/windir, it tells me I dont have permission.<br>
<br>/mnt/windir is owned and mount by root but has 777 permissions for itself and for the contents as well.<br><br>Not sure what is missing or what I am not understanding right.<br><font color="#888888"><br>-Narahari<br></font></blockquote>
