<p>Most likely outbound mail won't work in many cases.</p>
<p>It will work on a Linode, but not on most dsl or cable connections because of the extensive blacklists out there.</p>
<p>Some such addresses (e.g., mine in Comcast's business address range) happen to work, but AT&Ts seem to be in blocklists, as well as Windstream's.</p>
