I finally upgraded to Karmic and - whoops - lost my remote syslog filtering. I see the upgrade changed the log server and now I must choose: configure 'rsyslog' as I had 'syslog-ng' or replace 'rsyslog' with 'syslog-ng'.<BR>
<BR>
I liked the syntax of 'syslog-ng' filtering ('flames > /dev/null' of course), plus I had the filters working as I wished.<BR>

How have other users addressed this?<BR>
