I recently acquired a Acer Aspire One Netbook, and decided to try Ubuntu 10.04 Netbook Remix on it.<br><br>I wanted to ask if anyone else on the list has used the netbook remix version of Ubuntu and what your opinion is on it.<br>
<br>I personally didn&#39;t like the netbook optimized desktop interface on it. I wound up uninstalling all of the installed netbook packages and reverting it back to the default gnome desktop. After doing this I set the top and bottom panels to automatically hide to maximize my screen space.<br>
<br>Hopefully this isn&#39;t too far off topic, I really like Ubuntu and that is why I chose it to run on my netbook<br><br>Thanks for your opinions in advance,<br><br>Van Loggins<br><br><br>
