What's funny about this is that Arizona's own John McCain is only
for certain an American citizen by way of a targeted change in the
law meant to erase any question as to his citizenship specifically
(please Google/Snopes for details). Before the change it was a bit
of a judgment call, such that his citizenship was considerably more
questionable than Obama's (although no reasonable person could claim
that either man was "foreign-born" in any meaningful sense of the
term). <br>

about the next crazy bill pushed into the pipe, which states
that Arizona doesn't recognize the citizenship of a child born
in Arizona unless the parents are citizens. Pearce introduced
this bill (big surprise). I grew up in Georgia in the 1950s.
and have a finely honed sense of racist gibberish, and as far
as I'm concerned the phrase "anchor baby" is an overtly racist
term. <br>
