Apple was the king of proprietary back in the day and viewed as evil<br>
because of it. M$ would at least run on petty much IBM compatible PC so<br>

It amuses me these days to see the number of UNIX/Linux folks that walk<br>
around with Apple products given that Apple's philosophy has always been<br>
to keep it all to themselves.<br>
