Well, my PCI ClearQAM HD cable tuner (WinTV-HVR-<em>1600) </em>is up
for sale, as it is now 90% useless to me.<br>
<br>
I knew this day was coming, but it's still so very frustrating! I
can't see how Comcast thinks this is going to be a boost to their
bottom line. All I foresee is that they further push subscription
cable TV down the road of irrelevance by making web-based viewing more
popular and cable packages less popular. But hey, I'm not a fancy
cable company exec or a shareholder, so I'll just play the role of the
scorned, crabby customer with unnecessarily useless hardware. Grrrr.<br>
