Need nssswitch line:<br><br>hosts: files dns <br><br>also make sure /etc/hosts has line<br><br>127.0.0.1 localhost<br><br>Also double check /etc/resolve.conf has a fast nameserver as the first one. Test with:<br><br>time dig <a href="http://www.yahoo.com">www.yahoo.com</a><br>
