Probably can't delete with the drive in the machine. External delete will likely ruin the drive from the machine viewpoint.<br><br>I wonder how many copiers are using some form of embedded Linux as their OS. I've seen Linux used at a few places on some _big_ copiers (that had hard drives and "security").<br>

They often use proprietary filesystems etc.<br>

So it is not as simple as mounting a drive partition and copying off<br>
files.<br>

I don't know if they ever encrypt or not as well.<br>
