I finally got around to trying ubuntu (been SuSE since &#39;01) so I installed it over an old SuSE partition on my personal laptop but now grub locks it up if I do anything but boot the default ubuntu.  simply down arrowing even once, &#39;e&#39; or &#39;c&#39; &amp; it locks up/has to be power cycled.  hit enter or let it timeout &amp; it boots ubuntu no prob.<br>
