I have not used KVM so...<br><br><br>It sounds like the bridge used becomes the only use of the nic. Is that the ONLY way to use networking in KVM? Can you set the nic as the gateway device for the kvm virtual nic?<br><br>

Now if I add my nic to the bridge suddenly I can't get out, but my<br>
virts can. What do I need to do so I can get out and use my virts with<br>
KVM?<br>

bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces<br>

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD, an app you want<br>
to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE<br>
