sound like a routing issue between client and mailserver. If no one else is having an issue then it's on their primary leg and not under your control anyway.

They need to notify their ISP of the connection problem.
Hey all,

A client has problems with email timing out trying to get to my incoming mailserver. The client will send several emails in a day and then one or more of them
time out. They get a bounce message from their provider that looks like this:

We process a lot of email and complaints like this are very uncommon. I have spoken with our T1 service provider, and network solutions and have gotten nowhere. The client has sent us several of these bounce messages and they all have the same ip 205.178.146.50. At one point I thought this might indicate the issue in one of networksolutions outgoing mail servers but I don't really know. I think if we were having problems with our incoming mail server my phone would be ringing off the hook.

Any ideas or suggestions on troubleshooting this?

Best regards,

J. D.
