I don't know them from personal experience but check out <a href="http://system76.com/index.php">http://system76.com/index.php</a>. Their netbook comes with 2 GB of RAM and their 12.1, 13.3, and 15.4 inch models have up to 8 GB of RAM. <br>

Recently I've seen plenty of three year old Dell laptops that are in<br>
good shape. My own is 2 years old now and doing fine. Granted, it<br>
doesn't have a trackpoint.<br>
