12.0pt'>I used to install red hat on servers with Perc 5 controllers. They

configure Raid via the Bios, then I would load redhat, pointing it<br>
to /dev/hda ( sda..) for partitioning. maybe we are talking hardware vs<br>
software raid, unfortunately I'm not a raid guru :)<br>
