Our OS and apps are running on the system now, and we added new drives that we need to configure for RAID. </div></div>I used to install red hat on servers with Perc 5 controllers. They would<br>
configure Raid via the Bios, then I would load redhat, pointing it<br>
to /dev/hda ( sda..) for partitioning. maybe we are talking hardware vs<br>
software raid, unfortunately I'm not a raid guru :)<br>
