Geoffrey,<div><br></div><div>No kernel panic or other message before the rebooting system message? Is your kernel booting quiet? Lastly, you could try making your initrd without the USB modules, and blacklisting them in modprobe.conf. That would tell you if they're really the culprits, or a red herring.</div>

I'm trying to build a custom kernel with the latest mac support for my<br>

usb subsystem when it suddenly stops, displays 'restarting system' and<br>
