8.10 resulted in no ethernet and no wireless. 8.04 at least got the ethernet working and I've futzed the wireless into working. Every kernel update I have to dork with it again. <BR>

running 64 bit has meant that some packages I hoped to run (Userful) are unavailable, so think that through carefully. <BR>
