I think I've got this figured out, but I figured I'd get some input. I<br>
have a client who has Comcast business high speed. We need to forward<br>
port 9000 to a particular computer. I've gotten to the point that I've<br>
turned off the firewall on the comcast modem/router, forwarded the port<br>
to the IP of a connected laptop. The laptop is running Linux and no<br>
firewall. Still can not see port 9000.<br>

I'm telling Comcast it's something on their end. Am I missing<br>
something? Tried this with a Windows computer the same network (no<br>
firewall either), still no go.<br>

I was able to successfully forward port 22 to the laptop, but not 9000.<br>

Anyone?<br>
