I have these running on three openSUSE machines, 1 64bit 11.1, 1 32bit 11.1 and one 64bit 10.3, using KDE 3.5.X without any problems. Must be a GNOME problem.<br>

I have this same problem.. it appears to be gnome-screensaver or one of it's<br>
cohorts crashing, which throws up bug-buddy, which grabs the keyboard.<br>

I just switch to another VT and log in, and killall either bug-buddy or<br>
gnome-screensaver.<br>

I'm using Fedora 10, and I've filed a bug with them..<br>
