</div>I think you're taking it the wrong way. You just have to be a little<br>
more considerate of how people are going to take your words, as intent<br>
doesn't always translate well to text. For example, it'd be better to<br>
inquire as to who's in charge of the website, and ask them privately<br>
if they'd be interested in a hand, get their requirements (ie, lynx<br>
friendly) and then go to work and present something for approval, and<br>
work through revisions. That way no one mistakes your intent for<br>
posturing. I'm pretty sure everyone realizes that it's not an easy<br>
thing to put yourself forward, but how you go about it is a large part<br>
of how well it's received.<br>
