Sorry about the above aside. I had a friend ask about 100% Linux<br>
friendly laptops. Consider it a brain hiccup, but I can't remember the<br>
name(URL) of the company that is most often recommended and most often<br>
mentioned on this list. Could someone please refresh my memory? (and 4Gb<br>
sounded like so much at the time <G>).</blockquote><div><br>Laptop note: Acer Aspire One (little tiny thing available with Linpus preinstalled) is pretty cool. Bundled with Vonage service for a year, the laptop cost $99. I was able to blow away the Linpus install (based on Fedora 8) and put on Fedora 10. Running XFCE it's light and very useably speedy. Daughter is getting it to carry at school for a major semester of writing.<br>
