W00t. I have succeeded in building wxWidgets ( http://www.wxwidgets.org/ ) for maemo, transferring the libraries to an actual N810, and running the "life" demo from the package on it. In this process I have learned many things: you can't run executables or put shared object libs on a vfat-formatted memory card on my N810, for one. My current Grand Plan is to get wxLua ( http://wxlua.sourceforge.net/ ) packaged in a .deb file for the N810. Others have gotten it to run, but nobody has actually packaged it. I've already built and packaged text-mode lua for maemo; it's available on my site ( http://tomshiro.org/lua-maemo ).

Anyone else workin' with the N800, N810, or N770? I'd love to compare notes. Maybe there's even an ALE talk in this somewheres.

-- CHS
