<div dir="ltr">I've seen that as well. Solution: get the CD's for running through inkjet printers. They have a top coat of opaque white that labels don't eat. Also the paper label can protect the top silver surface from abrasion.<br>

I've read a few different articles that recommend against labels if<br>
you want the CDs / DVDs to hold data for extended periods. (ie. years)<br>
<br>
Apparently the glue on the back of the label slowly eats away at the<br>
CD material. Instead a permanent marker designed for CD / DVD use is<br>
recommended.<br>
