Performs installation and support for WebSphere MQSeries including backup,
recovery, and security. <br>
<br>
Responsibilities: <br>
Installation, configuration, and support of WebSphere MQ Server/Client on Windows
Servers and workstations, HP/UX and Sun Solaris. <br>
Installation, configuration, and support of currently installed version of
WebSphere Integrator. <br>
Administration of AppWatch software. <br>
Responsible for migration of WebSphere Integrator code into production
environment. <br>
Responsible for queue manager creation, modification and troubleshooting in
development, sandbox, QA and production environments. <br>
Assist in the development and enforcement of standards in queue manager builds,
as well as the establishment of standardized coding practices. <br>
<br>
Qualifications <br>
Minimum Requirements: <br>
Knowledge of WebSphere MQSeries v5.3 or higher applications. Understanding of
WebSphere MQSI v2.1. Knowledge of Sun Solaris; Windows Server and/or HP/UX
system configuration of MQSeries. <br>
Excellent communication and planning skills. Project management and team lead
skills. <br>
Ability to work with application teams. <br>
4 year degree in computer science or related field and / or equivalent work
experience. <br>
May be required to travel by air for disaster recovery. <br>
<br>
Preferred Requirements: <br>
<br>
Past usage of Oracle. <br>
Windows and Unix / Linux systems administration experience. <br>
Knowledge of DB2 and AppWatch.</span></font><font size=2 face=Arial><span
