For that particular video, the popcorn effect was achieved by dropping<br>
already-popped corn into the scene during filming, then using digital<br>
editing to remove the kernels from the table.<br>

Another way to do this is to remove the cooking mechanism from a microwave<br>
oven, mount it under the table, then use it to pop the popcorn.<br>
