<div dir="ltr">The ALE list has been getting hit daily with 150-250 unsubscriber spams since it was moved to our new hosting facilities. That's all noise but tolerable.<br><br>In case anyone is wondering, no, I don't sift through the chaff looking for the ham messages. I simply delete them all.<br>
<br>Between Saturday around 7 pm when I last dumped the turd bucket and Sunday at 10 am when I checked again, the bucket had been loaded with <br><br>6744 spams.<br><br>Yep. 6k+. Mailman is choking on clearing out the crap.<br>
<br>Maybe as savvy computer people ALE can tackle a social need: educating the general population about intelligent use of email, how EVERY OFFER received is crap, herbal viagra is fake, stock quotes are a scam, etc. <br>
The spammers do this stuff because there are people who will fall prey to it. <br><br>Maybe we need to team up with other groups worldwide and push harder for IPv6 so it can help with the spoofing.<br><br><br clear="all">
