was a teenager. The first Monty Python I saw was coincidentally the only
one that had a topless woman in it. Back in those days seeing a topless
woman on TV was quite shocking (and being a teenage boy) “exciting”.
Having been hooked by that I then saw how funny it was as well as the Britcom,
No Honestly, which came on after it.</span></font></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=navy face=Arial><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy'>There has been quite a bit of really good
programming on PBS over the years often when there is pure schlock on
commercial TV. Even now with hundreds of channels available via
cable I will often watch and re-watch some of the PBS fare even with the
maddening “pledge drives”. PBS locally introduced me to
the Carlos Museum at Emory which as an OTP denizen I hadn’t been aware of
until I saw a special about something being shown there.</span></font></p>

Not 'exactly' Linux related, but I'll bet we all know people (18-19)<br>
who might qualify and be interested, and hopefully some FOSS technologies<br>
will be enabling/useful:<br>

Design Squad is seeking candidates ages 18-19 who are passionate about<br>
engineering and are excited to spend the months of June-August in Boston<br>
(and traveling as well) tackling design challenges and competing for the<br>
$10,000 prize. Produced by WGBH-Boston for PBS, the program's goal is to<br>
get viewers excited about engineering and the design process.<br>
Apply by Friday, April 11.<br>
