we also have a public archives of the entire list traffic since the begining of dirt. That archives is, and has been searchable by google since google went live. The crosslinking between the two mediums is of little consequence unless someone is sending sensitive data to the list.<br>
<br>It that case they would be rather foolish since there are _FAR_ more subscribers than active participants.<br><br>I don't plan on ever posting anything to the google group for ale unless the ale machine goes up in smoke. I don't expect anyone else to use it for any other purposes as well. It is not worth bothering with except as a backup for the traffic.<br>
