I haven't followed this thread too closely, but this may
help someone.

My Netscape 7.01 (Mozilla/5.0) has a menu selection
under Bookmarks "Bookmark This Group of Tabs ..."
which I find very useful.  You get a number of tabs
the way you like them, then bookmark using that.
When you pick the bookmark it opens new tabs with
those pages.
