There still is mgetty/sendfax. It ships with many distro's. I have it on
my Redhat 6.x. You can get it also from the rpmfind site. (sorry the url
escapes me). There is also an email-to-fax gateway with sendmail.
Essentially, an email is sent to a faxspooling directory instead of an
email spooler. Then it gets processed and dialded out. I can't give specs
on _how_ to do that. I'm currently working on getting it setup myself.
There are a few other fax programs out there as well. Fax2Send is another.
It looks like it will work smoothly with email-to-fax gateway.
