Is this a known issue?
I have sendmail running (v8.9.3) on a RedHat 6.2 box. We have quite a few
automatically created majordomo lists, so everynight, the /etc/aliases
gets recreated. This happens around 5am. Not long after that, sendmail
starts acting up.
Any connection that tries to send mail through it never succeeds or fails.
ps -ef shows a lot of
sendmail: starting up with xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Eventually, sendmail hits it's max number of processes and starts refusing
connections.
Anyone seen this or know what may be causing it?
Thanks!
