Is zonefile your only table? I suspect kludged permissions. There is also a table
in MySQL with permissions to read, write, each table; has this been munged?
Create a new table and then make sure that the new table appears in the same
directory and has the same permissions as zonefile. You can then compare
permissions and placement of the two. Secondly, are you running from the console
and entering 'Use dbname' first before you run the query?
