I'm keenly interested in using VMware for Linux to virtualize one or more

instances of Windows NT Server in an Internet hosting environment.

None of the info I've seen so far on VMware addresses the issue of running a

guest OS without being logged on at the console of the host system.  Can

VMware run independently of an interactive X session and, if so, is it

possible to display a pre-existing guest OS console within a new X session

(that is, "re-connect" to a guest OS' display)?
