I just upgraded a lab to Mandrake 7.0 from redhat 5.2 and I have a curious problem. When PVM gets started by root, everything is fine. When anyone else starts it, it doesn't work. The output is:

./pvmd

[pvmd pid11853] 05/12 15:23:31 mksocs() bind netsock: Cannot assign requested address

[pvmd pid11853] 05/12 15:23:31 pvmbailout(0) 

I know no other copies are running and I have verified it with multiple users. Can anyone out there shed any light on this?
