I've been trying to temper my opinion on the whole DOJ matter from my
outright
hatred of MS, and then came this virus. I thought to myself, if there
is one
thing to should show the world just how pervasive MS is, this would do
it. If
only 30% of the world used Outlook and the other 60% used
mutt,netscape,eudora,
etc... then this trojan horse would not have been so easily wheeled
inside the
city walls.
But to pour salt in the wound, Time magazine is publishing an article by
Bill
Gates which pontificates about the break-up of Microsoft and how that
will cause even further problems with e-mail virus detection and
prevention.
Does Time think the world is that stupid? Is the world that stupid?
