On of my coworkers keeps having a problem with his xterms. He's
primarily a Windows user and I guess Control-S means something in
windows and he keeps typing it in his xterms. This brings the xterm
to a screeching halt untill he types Control-Q. Those of us who used
computers in the olden days of acoustic coupled modems find this
natural, but he is a young kid and for some reason he finds it hard to
remember the magic keystroke.
How can I turn off ^S/^Q for him? I'm not even sure what level is
doing this--is it bash? (I don't think so) Readline? Termcap?
Thanks in advance,
