hp openmail is free at first... I think you have 50 licenses.... And hell after you have 50 users, you should be able to afford more licenses... :)

Subject: [ale] groupware software
I am looking for a groupware package that is free. There seem to be some really great pay packages, but I am looking for something for a startup ISP that doesn't have a lot of money to throw around. Anybody know of anything?? I have searched freshmeat, redhat, anybody else I can think of and I can't find anything that isn't half baked. I need the standard stuff...email, contact list, to-do, calendar, and project management....preferably something that is run through the web so it at least semi-platform independant.
Now, if this isn't possible, is anyone interested in collaborating on a project to develope a GPL'd quality groupware package?? I am thinking of doing one in PHP if I can't find one. Would seem to be a good fit, I like PHP, and there is a fair amount of code out there that could be glued together (in particular I know of a calendar program and a web-mail program).
