I got the message once. I read mail with "mutt" from a Imap server running
sendmail. I laughed as I read the source. Another admin who prefers the
point and click of Outlook was cussing. If you choose to run windows, or
management decides to run windows based tools, they choose to be open to
this vulnerability. It is a known fact that windows and windows apps, etc
are vulnerable. It's kind of like, knowing that lighting a stick of dynamyte
in your mouth will blow your head, off, but you like how it sounds.
A number of us here are pushing for Linux on the desktop, with VMWare for the
few things we need to do with Windows Apps. Which cost more? The virus
or the VMWare license?
