That will not work. He has the *WinModem* on Box1 and therefore is running

Win2000 (as stated). Last, I checked WinX can't run IPCHAINS. I have little

experience with Win2000 so I don't know that it can do packet forwarding or NAT

without (expensive) additional software.

Your best solution is to spend 50 bucks and buy a real modem, then switch the

roles. Allow the Linux box to provide a secure gateway to the Net.
