Hey all,
I am a newbie in the Linux world, and I need help with something that
is probably old-hat to the experienced crowd. I have succesfully
installed Linux (RH 6.0) on a Win95 box several times. However, I have
just received a new workstation at work that is loaded with Win2000 (NT
5). Yikes! What to do? My MIS manager was kind enough to leave a large,
unpartitioned space on the hard drive so I could load Linux. In fact, I
have a 20 GByte drive, with half of it available to Linux. This PC is
very nice. Athlon 700Mhz, 128M SDRAM, etc. I am having a terrible time
with Disk Druid. It doesn't seem to want to install any Linux partitions
even though I have nearly 10 GBytes of unallocated space. What can I do?
